Step 1) Join an Advocacy Network like Trusted Voices and sign up for their Newsletter which features dates, events, legislative updates, encouragements and teacher leadership support.
Step 2) Focus your conversation whether it may be on social justice, inequitable funding, alternative compensation structures, or impacting education policy.
Step 3) Start Advocating. Seek out like-minded colleagues and start the conversation in your union, on a blog, or where you can.
