  • A highly selective leadership opportunity for outstanding Michigan teachers looking to deepen their knowledge of education policy and gain a voice in decisions that affect students and the teaching profession.


  • An opportunity to share your voice at the policy table without leaving the classroom.


  • A manageable commitment and partnership with your district/charter leadership as well as your local policy maker.


  • Part of network of expert educators who will take leadership over key policy and practice issues, directly impacting student achievement and educational outcomes in Michigan.

Manageable Commitment: 
  • Participate in monthly online calls and possibly attend one annual in-person meeting approved by your superintendent. 

  • Act as Liaison between district/charter educators and local policy-makers.  

  • Schedule one visit each year for your district/charter's policy-maker to visit and spend time in your classroom.

  • No prior policy experience required.​
